Amecameca day trip

AMECAMECA
JUSTIFICATION:
Biodiversity, volcanoes and ecology

Amecameca is right on the border of the State of Mexico and Puebla, which is the starting point of the volcanoes. This place in Nahuatl means "tiene vestido de amate".
In its origins, it was a land of farmers but later it developed an industrial zone where they installed factories of cotton fabrics, pottery workshops, "cererero and talabateria", as well as places where gold, silver and copper coins were minted.
Within its flora we find "quintoniles", "cuauhquelites" and quelite that make delicious Mexican dishes.
Of its fauna, we find hawks, eagles, wolves and roadrunners. And it has a spectacular view because it is so close to the Popocatepetl and Iztaccihuatl volcanoes.

INTEGRATION

In all the destinations that Ecoclub has, one of its main objectives is the integration of the student within the group, but even more so with the historical site in which they are, especially with their Historical Heritage and Biological Heritage.

Integrating ourselves is to sensitize ourselves and get closer to our national identity as well as to the concept of cultural heritage, and in this way understand the importance of its rescue and conservation in a country like Mexico, heir mainly to two cultures: Mesoamerican and European; it is also heir to an infinity of cultural expressions that define it and give it meaning and life.
Integrating ourselves into cultural heritage is understanding that there is no cultural pattern, but different cultures, that is, different ways of being, living, creating, thinking and understanding life and the world.
