Malinalco day trip

MALINALCO
JUSTIFICATION:
To know a mystical place where the pre-Hispanic and colonial past come together harmoniously.

Mexiquense town located south of Toluca that can be discovered starting at its central plaza with its staircase and the kiosk, where one can have a snack.
Its fame comes from the Mexica Sanctuary which, from Cerro de los Idolos, stands out in the landscape. This site, worked from the rocks of the hill, is an example of Mexican ritual architecture.
Currently, the town lives off its agriculture and tourism (for its tropical climate and historical monuments) and can be visited all year.
The thriving agriculture is due to the abundance of water coming from springs and rivers, as well as the soils rich in organic matter.
There you can find snakes, porcupines, eagles, deer and rabbits.
