Aware of the importance of the cultural and natural heritage of Mexico City, Centros Ecoclub proposes:

1) Make the students discover the most important aspects of the ancient city of Mexico Tenochtitlan, the great capital of the Mesoamerican post-classic period that would later become the foundations and walls of the new colonial city.
The topics developed during the day will make them understand and reflect on the importance of knowing our pre-Hispanic past in an interdisciplinary way to have a more reflective knowledge about Mexican culture.

2) Make students discover the colonial era whose central focus is everyday life. The topics developed during the day will make you understand and reflect on:
The cultural wealth that was created during the colonial period and the legacies of the colonial city to the modern city.
The importance of knowing the daily life of Mexico City to have a deeper idea of the process of forming the Mexican identity.
Why preserve cultural heritage.

3) Observe the environmental deterioration that the city has suffered over 700 years.

4) Introduce the student to the discovery of Mexican muralism through history and aesthetic appreciation.
5) Reflect on concept of "city" and the current problems of the historical center of our capital.
