TEHUACAN
"Sustainable development-Biodiversity"
"Social Service" (Structured program based on the needs of the school)

This magnificent city is famous for its springs of mineral waters that are also excellent for health. It has been marketed with important names and there are those who attribute curative properties to it. This commercialization has helped to give it special status, create jobs and produce and sell products. However, in 1992 the English had removed the name of Tehuacan from the labels of soft drinks .
But not only is Tehuacan famous for this, it also has the Ex Convento del Carmen that, with its typical 18th century Mexican Baroque structure, is worth visiting.
For the locals it was important to have the Franciscan friars closer, so that in 1536 the Ex Convento and Temple of San Francisco were built on the Cerro Colorado de Tehuacan.
These and other important places like Calvario and the Municipal Palace make Tehuacan more attractive to visit.
It also has recreational places that children and adults will enjoy, such as the Parque Juarez or the San Lorenzo Aquatic Park.
